Salesforce Consultant

A new opportunity has arisen for a salesforce consultant to join Computacenter, a leading independent provider of IT services and solutions. Based in Hatfield, the role will be reporting to the Head of Product and Sales Systems. You will work closely with the stakeholders in our Group Technology Sourcing business, applying your business & technical knowledge to create and deliver innovative solutions on the salesforce platform The successful candidate will have a passion for customer centricity, driving global standards and keeping abreast of current and emerging technologies and will leverage these to identify and explore opportunities to add value.


This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing salesforce team, where you will be responsible in delivering salesforce solutions to our global sales organisation ensuring our continued growth.


 Main Responsibilities

            •             Demonstrates a strong understanding of Salesforce product capabilities coupled with hands on experience

            •             Matches business process and automation requirements to the capabilities of Salesforce.

            •             Collaborates with or acts as the Solution Architect in discovery workshops, which includes the facilitation of large audiences, presentations, and prototype demonstrations.

            •             Identifies business process improvements while documenting proposed changes and user stories.

            •             Documents AS-IS and TO-BE business process flows.

            •             Collaborates and communicates with the functional stakeholders in various business groups and IT.

            •             Responsible for standard configuration of the proposed solutions.

            •             Ensures that configuration aligns to best practices

            •             Documents and Supports the solution by utilization of an Agile delivery model.

            •             Hosts large meetings for Sprint and User Story Demos

            •             Requires Salesforce Administrator and Sales Cloud Consultant certifications ( Advanced Administrator, App Builder & Service Cloud Consultant desirable)

            •             Excellent written and verbal communication skills

            •             Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

            •             Actively participate in team meetings, proactively suggesting improvements to systems and processes, helping to drive the team to constantly improve and innovate.


The Ideal Candidate:

            •             Minimum of 3 years salesforce experience

            •             Transparent and efficient communicator with a growth mindset.

            •             Able to motivate the team including business stakeholders.

            •             Strategic thinker who gets the bigger picture and is able to work in a consultative way - inspiring and leading our business aligned to our vision of the future whilst leveraging the salesforce platform



            •             Knowledge of CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote).
