About the role
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Data Analyst to join Asset Management service based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire.
The Asset Management service is based on ITIL best practice and has the primary objective of building an inventory of a customer’s IT estate, that helps organizations track Assets through their end-to-end life cycle, lowering IT costs, reducing IT risk, and improving their productivity. The service is integral to other ITIL Service lines such as Patch Management, Vulnerability Management, Break/Fix and Billing to name a few. There are 66 members of Group Asset Management under Business Process and Optimisation. We service 3+ Million Assets for 33 customers across 5 countries
The role is working for a fast-growing team in a hybrid working model that would involve working from home and travel into our Hatfield office 2-3 days a week.
What you will do
- Maintain databases to the required level of detail
- Perform audit tasks
- Complete work tasks for accounts following defined work instructions
- Reports and escalates data exceptions to Senior (Data) Analyst
- Completes Non BAU tasks as directed or assigned by Team Leader
- Performs audits tasks including where necessary plan and conduct physical onsite audits
- Completes any necessary service or account metrics
- Awareness of the Customer Service Profile which includes the Service Plan
What we are looking for
- You must be eligible to undergo SC cleared
- Advanced Excel skills using formulae such as VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP advantageous
- Good Microsoft office skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Previous data analysis skills advantageous
- Experience of managing asset registers
- ITIL Foundation Qualified advantageous
- Some understanding of Asset & Configuration processes advantageous
- Experience in Asset & Configuration CMDB’s desirable
