Salesforce Technical Lead/Architect

 

A Salesforce Technical lead is required to join us at an exciting time. Reporting to the Salesforce Platform Owner, the successful candidate will join the start of our Salesforce journey. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to share their experience and help shape the direction of the platform. We are seeking an experienced candidate with a strong background in technical architecture.

 

Duties of the role:

The technical lead will work closely with the wider team, which are split between the UK and US. You will enjoy good collaboration with stakeholders and teams across multiple countries in different time zones. Alongside the Platform Owner, you will act as the gatekeeper for change, always ensuring that solutions are following standards, guardrails and best practice.

 

Qualifications & Experience

            •             Leading the design and delivery of solutions on the salesforce platform ensuring they align with our best practices for both internal team and external vendor

            •             Defining and driving the platforms architectural best practices, guardrails and design patterns ensuring it is scalable, maintainable & fit for future.

            •             Review the build work of the in-house team as well as external vendor

            •             Customisation of the salesforce platform using Apex, Triggers, LWC and declarative tools

            •             Ensure the current DevOps and CI/CD framework is optimal

            •             Help grow future talent by coaching and providing development opportunities

            •             Inputs into platform roadmap reviews and assessments

            •             Proactively identify and resolve problems

            •             Stay abreast of industry technology innovations, new business practices, and third-party technology solutions

            •             Collaborates and communicates with the functional stakeholders in various business groups and IT.

            •             Documents and Supports the solution by utilization of an Agile delivery model.

            •             Requires Salesforce Administrator, App Builder, Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II certification, (JavaScript Developer I, Advanced Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant and Service Cloud Consultant desirable)

            •             Detects opportunities to increase business value or minimizes operational costs by leveraging the Salesforce platform capabilities.

 

The Ideal Candidate

            •             Minimum of 4 years hands on salesforce development experience.

            •             Experience developing Visualforce, Apex, Triggers, LWC and declarative tools.

            •             Experience of DevOps and CI/CD.

            •             Experience in the complete life cycle of project development including release management, testing and deployment.

            •             Experience with Agile methodology.

            •             Result oriented person with strong analytical skills.

            •             Experience on how to communicate clearly under pressure and thrive to find solutions and compromises in these conditions.

            •             English (fluent, verbally and written), any other European language is a plus.

            •             Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

            •             Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to conceptualize and communicate detailed technical concepts to mixed audiences.

            •             Strong understanding of Salesforce Solution design & architecture, data management and integrations.

            •             Knowledge of Salesforce CPQ an advantage.
