Job Role – Salesforce Developer

We are seeking a developer to join us at an exciting time. The successful candidate will join at the early stages of our Salesforce journey. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects focussed on Salesforce CRM and CPQ, helping to deliver real business change. We are seeking a candidate with a development background on the Salesforce platform, who has the drive and passion to grow their career within Computacenter.

Duties of the role:

The developer will work closely with the wider Salesforce team, which are split between the UK and US. You will enjoy good collaboration with stakeholders and teams across multiple countries within the Computacenter Group. Alongside the technical lead and senior members of the team, you will act as the gatekeeper for change, always ensuring that solutions are following standards, guardrails and best practice.

Qualifications & Experience

•             Knowledge of Salesforce CRM platforms.

•             As a Salesforce developer, you will be responsible for developing customised solutions within CRM and CPQ. You will also analyse project objectives, create workflows, and troubleshoot errors.

•             Working with guidance from the senior members of the team to deliver solutions aligning with best practice and guardrails, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable & fit for future.

•             Ability to problem solve high-level software and application issues.

•             Customisation of the salesforce platform using Apex, Triggers, LWC and declarative tools

•             Stay abreast of industry technology innovations, new business practices, and third-party technology solutions

•             Providing support where required for Salesforce Administrators in the delivery of customer requirements.

•             Collaborates and communicates effectively with the functional stakeholders in various business groups and IT.

•             Documents and supports the solution by utilization of an Agile delivery model.

•             Detects opportunities to increase business value or minimizes operational costs by leveraging the Salesforce platform capabilities.

•             Maintaining the security and integrity of the application software.

The Ideal Candidate  

•             Minimum of 18 months of hands-on salesforce development experience in a similar role.

•             Experience developing Visualforce, Apex, Triggers, LWC and declarative tools.

•             Ideally certified as Salesforce Administrator, App Builder, Platform Developer I, with a passion to continue to grow into a senior role.

•             Experience of DevOps and CI/CD.

•             Experience in the complete life cycle of project deliver, with Agile methodology.

•             Result oriented person with strong analytical skills.

•             Experience on how to communicate clearly under pressure and thrive to find solutions and compromises in these conditions.

•             English (fluent, verbally and written), any other European language is a plus.

•             Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

•             Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to conceptualize and communicate technical concepts to mixed audiences.

•             Strong understanding of Salesforce Solution design & architecture, data management and integrations.

•             Knowledge of Salesforce CPQ an advantage.
