SAP - Sales, Procurement & Service Lead

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SAP-savvy professional to join Central Business Systems and lead our SAP specialists in the areas of Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and Service Solutions within SAP ECC 6.0 but transitioning over to S4Hana in the coming years.  You will provide effective leadership to drive change, innovation, and growth within the team, linked to the overall department and divisional goals.   

 

You will provide accountability for our operational service, as well as help set strategy for new and enhanced solutions as part of our ongoing growth and organisational change. As part of a global SAP footprint, you will collaborate as needed to ensure our technology meet the needs of the business.  A key factor of the role is to work in close collaboration with various stakeholders from across the organisation including UK, Germany, France, US and Hungary. 
  
What you’ll do

 

•    Leading a small team of SAP ECC 6.0 Specialists within the areas of Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and Service Solutions, and associated IT/IS Services. 
•    Pioneering our global solutions within the areas of Order to Cash, Procure to Pay and Service Solutions to ensure they are in line with the overall SAP Strategy 
•    Working closely with the Logistics, HR, and Finance Leads within the Department to create a consistent and collaborative approach across all the teams. 
•    Working closely with the Development teams in Germany to identify and implement new solutions to meet the needs of our growing organisation and a move to our S4Hana platform. 
•    Build and maintain an effective relationship with key stakeholders across the organisation. 
•    Assist with the planning and prioritisation of solution backlog and development roadmap. 
•    Work with internal and external teams to ensure stability of the operational service 
•    Ensuring that the satellite systems within the area of responsibility are closely integrated with SAP 
  
What you’ll need

 

•    Technical background in SAP ECC 6.0 suiting candidates who have strong process knowledge as well as technical qualifications.  Exposure to S/4Hana is an advantage. 
•    An understanding of end-to-end business processes in an SAP environment, such as Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and Service 
•    Previous team leading/management experience 
•    Strong commercial awareness and an ability to operate in commercially sensitive and important situations. 
•    Strong problem-solving skills, being able to identify innovative yet practical solutions to complex problems 
•    Solid technical and analytical skills, with ability to interpret & present data clearly 
•    Strong communicator verbally and in writing, with keen listening skills 
•    Experience with working with third party providers 
•    Ability to prioritise competing demands and tasks 
•    Well organised, self-disciplined, and motivated 
•    Ability to navigate large, complex organisations 
•    Ability to be hands-on and effectively delegate where appropriate with a self-motivated, can-do attitude that leads by example 

 

Additional Comments:

Hybrid work is an option, but must be able to get to Hatfield one or two days per week.

Competitive Basic salary + Bonus + Car
