Business Improvement Manager

Business Improvement Manager - Hybrid
Delivering a consistent approach to quality across Group Technology Sourcing (GTS) via a structured framework and metrics, instilling a Global culture of continuous improvement and “quality first.”  

 

Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for development of the GTS quality framework and agreeing the quality standards with the functional heads 
  • Identifies quality KPIs, gathers and analyses relevant data against quality standards
  • Proactively identifies opportunities for improvements including change recommendations and execution
  • Produces management reports to show quality performance and initiatives
  • Develops an environment of continuous improvement within GTS , providing training, tools and techniques to enable others to achieve quality standards
  • Lead coordinating and tracking continuous improvement initiatives
  • Regularly reviews and assesses (in conjunction with the functional teams) the training and development needs of GTS based on quality analysis
  • Aligns and manages relationship with Group Quality Management and Assurance, aligning with the Service Quality Management Framework (SQMF)
  • Supports audit requirements

 

Knowledge and Key Skills:
Essential:

  • At least 3 year’s career experience 
  • Excellent decision making, organisational and leadership skills
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Prior experience in quality management,  process management or similar
  • Knowledge of problem-solving techniques 
  • Experience of creating performance metrics to capture and manage data
  • Advanced Excel and Powerpoint user skills
  • Willing to travel (subject to travel restrictions)
  • Excellent written and verbal English


Desirable:

  • Lean Six Sigma qualification
  • German and / or French speaking
  • Experience of managing across different cultures
  • ITIL certified


Critical Success Factors:

  • Quality framework successfully implemented across GTS
  • Alignment with Group Quality Management and Assurance
  • Achievement of Stakeholder satisfaction levels
  • Effective P&L/budgetary management
