Role Responsibilities
In the role of a Projects and Portfolio Office (PPO) Lead  in Computacenter’s Projects & Programmes Practice you will be at the forefront of all Projects Practice delivery aligned to single or multiple customers in a key leadership role and will be managing the operation of a PPO.  This will include activities around the contracting, delivery and governance of all project change on the account. These can be complex and/or high-risk projects and/or programmes of work across multiple platforms often with associated multi-million-pound services revenue. 

You will lead, guide, coach and mentor the PPO team to deliver positive outcomes according to the contract and to the customer requirements whilst ensuring that PPO and Projects Practice processes and tooling are used appropriately.

Your scope of accountability will range from pre-sales through to delivery and into closure, working with multiple senior stakeholders, both internally and within the Customer, to ensure successful outcomes are achieved - Cost, Time, Quality.   You will provide management reporting and effective communication for all PPO change, including P&L reporting, and you will provide portfolio reporting to the Customer and internal stakeholders.

You will build and manage the PPO team, ensuring that roles are filled with appropriately skilled and experienced people. You will collaborate with the Practice Leads and Enablement Managers to manage and approve all changes of Projects Practice staff into or out of the PPO team to ensure there is no impact on the delivery of change and that interdependencies are recognised.

We will use our PPO capability to enhance how we engage with the Customer and internally, to provide a focal point for account-wide leadership of delivery, to drive governance and assurance, co-ordination, and reporting.
