Procurement Systems & Enablement Lead

Location: UK - Hatfield | Job-ID: 218171 | Contract type: Standard | Business Unit: Business Operations & Administration

Life on the team

Computacenter’s Global Indirect Procurement function is undergoing a period of significant change, with a wide programme of work focused on modernising systems, processes, and technology across the business.

As Procurement Systems & Enablement Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering and embedding both procurement related and wider technical system initiatives. While a key focus of the role will be our flagship Source to Pay transformation programme using SAP Ariba, the remit extends beyond procurement alone and includes a broad range of system enablement, enhancement and integration projects.

Working closely with senior stakeholders across Finance, IT and HR, you’ll help turn agreed strategy into practical, scalable solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes, both within and beyond procurement.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the end to end delivery of global procurement systems and enablement initiatives, including ERP and Source to Pay programmes (e.g. SAP SRM to SAP Ariba)
  • Lead and manage additional technical and system projects for Global Indirect Procurement, including new tools, enhancements and integrations beyond core ERP initiatives
  • Act as the day to day delivery lead across a portfolio of system and process initiatives, owning plans, milestones, dependencies and risks
  • Support and facilitate workshops, capturing decisions, requirements and actions across both procurement focused and wider technical projects
  • Translate agreed strategy and design into clear system requirements, configuration inputs and process documentation
  • Coordinate testing, data readiness, cutover and deployment activities
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, user guidance and training materials
  • Support change management and user adoption to ensure solutions are successfully embedded
  • Provide post go live support and continuous improvement input once systems are live
  • Manage delivery governance, reporting and status updates for stakeholders
  • Analyse operational data and maintain structured, Excel based reporting to provide clear insight on delivery progress and adoption
  • Line manage and develop a direct report, supporting delivery execution and capability growth

What you’ll need

  • Proven experience delivering system and process transformation initiatives in a global or large corporate environment
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP Ariba (procurement side experience is essential)
  • Solid understanding of end to end procurement processes, including Purchase to Pay (P2P) and Source to Contract (S2C)
  • Experience managing and delivering both procurement and non procurement technical system projects
  • Confidence working across complex, cross functional stakeholder groups
  • Strong planning, organisation and delivery management capability
  • Ability to translate complex strategy and system design into practical, executable delivery plans
  • Line management or people leadership experience (preferred)
  • Strong Excel capability, including pivot tables and structured reporting
  • Degree or equivalent professional experience; project management qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile) are desirable
