PowerPoint Specialist 12month FTC

Life on the team

 

Working alongside our creative services team, you will be responsible for creating engaging, design led graphical content within PowerPoint (and occasionally other programmes) for a wide range of strategic campaigns, pitches and internal projects for various internal stakeholders. This is a 12 month fixed term contract.

What you’ll do

 

 

You will be part of the Creative Services team of designers, who work closely with internal teams to establish their needs and expectations and then conceptualise and deliver design solutions that meet requirements.  You will play a lead role as the PowerPoint presentation specialist within the team. 

 

  • Producing high-quality and visually engaging designs and presentations
  • Transforming complex concepts and data into visually accessible, inspiring communications
  • Working collaboratively as a valued member of a multi-disciplinary design team
  • Working directly with internal stakeholders to co-create presentation content.
  • Delivering accurate and timely presentation materials in line with established templates, brand guidelines and corporate best practices.
  • In time, become our subject matter expert and enhance our company’s approach to PowerPoint through your knowledge, expertise and confidence in improving the layout and ‘look and feel’ of PowerPoint documents.

 

 

What you’ll need

 

  • Highly proficient in all aspects of Microsoft PowerPoint (other presentation and design programmes beneficial too) and Microsoft Office.
  • Great data and content visualisation skills.
  • Excellent organisation, time management and attention to detail, with the ability to work to brand guidelines as essential.
  • Able to build effective internal relationships based on trust, flexibility and a professional approach and be able to deal confidently with stakeholders.
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of the Computacenter's brand guidelines.
  • Graphic Design/Communications or related qualification is advantageous.
  • Proven PowerPoint design experience working within a challenging commercial environment – preferably with a portfolio of recent work.
  • Good, working familiarity with graphic design principles.
  • Attentive to details and deadlines; ability to manage multiple initiatives and able to work effectively with colleagues of all levels in an organisation.
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning and organisational skills.
  • Skills in Adobe InDesign and Illustrator would be an advantage.
