Based at our headquarters in Hatfield (2/3 days a week), you’ll find there’s everything in place for you to realise your ambitions. We’ve become a leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services by being open, upfront and straightforward. So, you’ll know exactly what’s expected of you, managers will be accessible when you need training and support, your voice will be heard, and we’ll take a genuine interest in how you want to develop.

Our Mission & Responsibilities: Through compelling content, campaigns and communications, the goal is to inspire and engage the target audience of our customers and our people - and importantly ensure everything created is on brand.

What you'll do

You will be part of the Creative Services team of designers, who work closely with internal teams to establish their needs and expectations and then conceptualise and deliver design solutions that meet requirements.  You will play a lead role as the PowerPoint presentation specialist within the team.

  • Transforming complex concepts and data into visually accessible, inspiring communications
  • Working collaboratively as a valued member of a multi-disciplinary design team
  • Working directly with internal stakeholders to co-create presentation content.
  • Delivering accurate and timely presentation materials in line with established templates, brand guidelines and corporate best practices.
  • In time, become our subject matter expert and enhance our company’s approach to PowerPoint through your knowledge, expertise and confidence in improving the layout and ‘look and feel’ of PowerPoint documents.

What you'll need

  • Highly proficient in all aspects of Microsoft PowerPoint (other presentation and design programmes beneficial too) and Microsoft Office.
  • Great data and content visualisation skills.
  • Excellent organisation, time management and attention to detail, with the ability to work to brand guidelines as essential.
  • Able to build effective internal relationships based on trust, flexibility and a professional approach and be able to deal confidently with stakeholders.
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of the Computacenter's brand guidelines.
  • Graphic Design/Communications or related qualification is advantageous.
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning and organisational skills (advantageous)

Additional comments:

  • Whilst we support and encourage a flexible / hybrid working environment, we are looking for someone who is able to work from our Global HQ in Hatfield 2-3 days per week for the first couple of months.
  • This is a 12 month Fixed Term Assignment, with a strong possibility to be made permanent and join the team full-time.
