Partner Relationship and Commercial Management Apprenticeship- Level 3

Salary: £14,000 (Hatfield) and £16,000 (London- in line with London wage)

Our team
We are a team of 38 whose main focus is to build strong partnerships with our ever expanding network of IT suppliers.  Our goal is to have the best commercials in the market place on all leading technologies – providing Computacenter’s sales teams with an unfair advantage when bidding for new and established business within our client base. 

We do the above by leveraging the relationships that we have formed and nurtured to gain access to lucrative vendor programmes, technical support, certifications and marketing funds, to name a few of the levers that we then utilise to assist our sales teams in acquiring new business. 


What can you do for us? 
We are looking for multiple talented and driven individuals, who are keen on building on their already existing qualifications, to join our team as a Partner Management Level 3 apprentice. During the 18 months, you will rotate across a variety of departments learning new skills in delivering commercial solutions and relationship building. This will give you the opportunity to get a true understanding of how companies focussing on supply chain operate, gaining new skills and knowledge along the way. There will be opportunities to support in the arrangement of events aimed at developing engagement with our suppliers – these come in many forms – attending trade shows and product launches, assisting with call out days and promoting incentives – all tasks that will help develop networking skills.

No two days are the same in partner management, however some tasks are required as part of the day to day staples of the role. These include the management of trackers which contain details of accreditation programmes, forecasts, contact details, awards won and marketing funds. Maintaining these will provide you with the opportunity to communicate both within our organisation and externally with our partners growing your relationships and ultimately your professional network.

This really is an exciting opportunity to learn from industry professionals whilst undertaking a highly sought-after level 3 IT Technical sales apprenticeship qualification. The successful applicants as part of the role will participate in vendor training days and lunch and learns to aid a deeper understanding of the products and trends of the IT industry.

What should you bring with you? 
As you can tell this exciting role will give you a lot of skills and knowledge, but we do have some requirements up front. Firstly, we are looking for someone who enjoys building and maintaining relationships, working as part of a team and someone who is pro-active and loves to solve problems. For core skills we are looking for you to have excellent communication and organisation skills and have a strong desire to not only learn but to achieve!

For the apprenticeship qualification we also require candidates to hold a minimum of five GCSEs at grade C/4 or above including Maths and English. It would also be an advantage if you are confident in using Microsoft office such as word, excel and PowerPoint.
