Legal Advisor

Our internal well established Legal Department within Computacenter is currently looking for a Legal Advisor to join our growing and busy UK Legal team.

In this role you will be working with key business stakeholders, customers and suppliers with a focus on supporting the UK business with commercial contracts across the entire life-cycle of a deal.

We will consider both full time and part time hours for this role.

 

What you’ll be doing

 

  • Drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts with our customers and suppliers
  • Working with bid teams and alongside senior lawyers on complex managed services deals
  • Developing legal standards and collateral
  • Litigation and dispute management and instructing external counsel where relevant
  • Reviewing NDA’s
  • Undertaking legal research
  • Provide legal advice to all relevant departments within the company


What you’ll bring

 

  • UK qualified solicitor with 2 years PQE (or equivalent) with significant in-house experience
  • Proven experience of drafting and negotiation contracts in a “business to business” environment
  • The ability to understand a complex situation and summarise it in a concise and easy to understand format
  • You will possess a willing, helpful attitude and a calm professional manner, even during times of rapid change
  • Strong drafting, legal analysis and negotiating skills
  • A willingness to accept responsibility and ownership and to work as part of team and independently as the situation demands
