Life on the team 

 

We are now looking for an Inside Sales Senior Programme Lead, to join our (Operational Business Support & Development) OBSD team. The OBSD team are responsible for delivering education, training, and development alongside business advisory services for our Group Technology Sourcing (GTS) operational teams. This consists of providing training courses across the Group GTS operating countries (UK, DE, FR, BE & NL), providing onboarding support, management of operational talent programmes, developing training courses, delivering training and the administration of the end-to-end onboarding and training process. 


Working as the Inside Sales Senior Programme Lead you will have responsibility for the overall direction, planning, coordination, implementation executive and delivery of major and complex programmes of work that will benefit our Inside Sales Organisation and other teams within Group Technology Sourcing. You will ensure the programmes are adopted and implemented successfully, both being on time and on budget. 
You will also provide coaching and mentoring to less experience team members. 


What you’ll do

 

Programme Management & Development

 

  • Oversees GTS Education Plans including ensuring communication methods are fit for purpose and LMS system fully utilised.
  • Training delivered is continuously reviewed and improved, and new training areas are developed to a high standard in collaboration with the GTS Lead Trainers
  • Continuously engaging with key stakeholders within the GTS operational teams to identify and assess teams Education needs.
  • Ensures all programme of work delivered include an effective people plan, which is subsequently delivered against.
  • Partners with business leaders to deliver programmes that support Inside Sales and GTS objectives.
  • Leads the planning and implementation of programmes(s) throughout the lifecycle of work, initiation through to closure.
  • Oversees the review of programme scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Tracks and advises on programme deliverables and tasks.
  • Own and resolves any issues that arise during the programme and proactively drives risk mitigation activities.
  • Drive team accountability for programme results of staying on-budget, on-schedule, and delivery of outcomes/adoption as expected. 
  • Communicate clear expectations to key stakeholders and programme team members, including gaining acceptance and accomplishing programme objectives.
  • Provide status reporting throughout the programmes of work to stakeholders on progress, issues, and resolutions.
  • Effective escalation management for any programme related issues/risks that will impact the programme of work negatively.
  • Mentor team members including aspects of leadership, methodology, approach, stakeholder management and people skills.
  • Conduct programme reviews, post implementation reviews, continual improvement reviews and adoption reviews.
  • Embrace and support Computacenter’s mission and winning together values.
  • Ensuring training resources (new courses, repository, administration system) are in place, adopted and updated,
  • Implementation of programmes to a high standard, that meet the initial success criteria, are delivered on time and budget and adopted successfully by the users.

What you’ll need

 

  • Minimum 7–10-year experience within the IT industry
  • Good awareness of the marketplace, industry, and stakeholders
  • Good understanding of how GTS operates.
  • Good process understanding for day-to-day business within Inside Sales and GTS
  • Identifies decision makers and leverages relationships to improve service.
  • Excellent time management as well as independent, solution-oriented work
