Are you passionate about technology and delivering excellent customer service? We’re looking for an IT Technician to join our onsite support team, providing face-to-face technical assistance through a busy TechBar environment.


As an IT Technician, you'll be the first point of contact for end users, resolving a broad range of IT issues and ensuring colleagues can remain productive. You'll work closely with customers and technical teams to provide hands-on support, delivering a positive user experience and high levels of customer satisfaction.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem solving, working directly with customers, and developing their technical skills across a diverse range of technologies.


What you'll do

 

  • Provide walk-up support to end users through the onsite TechBar service.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, operating system and application-related incidents.
  • Provide IT guidance, advice and "how-to" support to users.
  • Install, configure and re-install software and applications to resolve incidents and requests.
  • Complete software-related service requests in line with agreed service levels.
  • Deploy and configure standard desktop and laptop builds.
  • Perform image reloads and device rebuilds following hardware or software failure.
  • Resolve issues that require physical, hands-on intervention and cannot be addressed remotely.
  • Support user onboarding and offboarding activities, including joiners and leavers processes.
  • Provide mobile device support and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, requests and resolutions.
  • Deliver a professional and customer-focused service at all times.


What you'll need

 

  • Previous experience in an IT support, service desk, desktop support or technical support role.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows operating systems, desktop applications and end-user devices.
  • Experience supporting software installations, configurations and device deployments.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft technologies and standard workplace productivity tools.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple support requests effectively.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Experience supporting mobile devices would be advantageous.
