Head of GIS Tooling Enablement Solutions

 

Are you looking for an opportunity within presales leading a team of solutions? If so you will find your ideal position within Computacenter.

As a head of tooling Enablement in group information systems, you will be responsible for the overall team creating innovative cost-effective solutions integrating systems to deliver Managed Services and contractual services contracts.

 

Responsible for ensuring the fulfilment of the presales requests and all the delivery of technical solutions within the sales function, driving engagement and key relationships to ensure the efficient and effective presales and solutions function within tooling.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Evolve and manage the Tooling Enablement Cost Model and tooling design into our Contractual Service business.
  • Assure we deliver against the provided cost model driving efficiencies
  • Generate a statement of work which is accepted by the key service owners of GIS
  • Budget Management of cost centre and ensure accuracy of cost charge costs
  • Active management of all assigned resources, based on forecast and actual work/utilization assure processes are in place to increase and decrease capacity driven by demand
  • Drive and move forward the relationship and engagement with all business units involved in the pre-sales and solution finding process for our contractual services business.
  • Work on inefficiencies and improve processes.
  • Ensure that Computacenter’s standard tools and processes are maximised to save costs and bespoke tooling only when necessary
  • Ensure Tooling and enablement services can be engaged by any part of the business and solutions costed appropriately
  • Approve all cost models related to tooling
  • Provide management reporting around pre-sales pipeline, forecast for resource demand within the team and wider business
  • Understand general challenges & opportunities within Pre-Sales cycles and bridge any gaps in our standard offerings

 

Ideal Person

  • Proven commercial and sales capability
  • Willing to travel regularly in Europe
  • Very good understanding of the contractual services we offer and how services delivered
  • Good presentation & communications skills.
  • Experience in development of detailed management report
  • Proven track record in solution sales and delivery
