Senior Digital Marketing Manager

We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Digital Marketing Leader to develop, implement and guide our web and social media strategy. 


As an expert in your field, you will lead the enhancement of our digital channels through continuous development and enhancement of our digital presence including user experience (UX), content and search. 


You will work with both internal and external stakeholders on all aspects of digital marketing, including strategy & planning, reporting, SEO, ad management, social media, email, content creation, website management, and reporting. 


You will be part of Group Marketing and will work alongside colleagues in multiple geographies and multiple areas of the business, to ensure that we maximise all the benefits that our digital channels have to offer in bringing our brand, purpose, and values to life for our target audience. 


You’ll be working within a passionate and focused marketing and creative team with colleagues across the globe. We help the business to differentiate, get closer to the needs of our customers, and deliver winning campaigns.

 

What you’ll be doing


Strategy & Planning 

  • Own our web and social media strategies implementing current strategies as well as suggesting and developing new ones to support our company’s overall goals and objectives.

 

Social Media 

  • Creating and maintaining our social media channels, big emphasis on LinkedIn.
  • Oversee, plan and deliver engaging multimedia content across different social platforms
  • Develop a governance model for social media 
  • Develop social media reporting framework integrated with broader marketing analytics objectives
  • Own and drive our global employee advocacy programme, ensuring the platform and framework is fit for purpose and engagement is effective with key stakeholders
  • Identify the latest trends in digital and social media landscape – platforms, engagement, experience, media performance and tools, that are of relevance to our clients

 

Website management 

  • Reviewing and maintaining the site performance
  • Refining the UX to make the user journey compelling and engaging
  • Acting as an expert guide for others on best practice when creating content for web
  • Devise and deliver an effective web content marketing strategy, tailored to audience, brand and key business themes
  • Updating content within the website content management systems to optimize the user experience
  • Creating landing pages
  • Developing an SEO strategy to ensure we feature well on SERPs. 
  • Using search to help capture new opportunities for clients, track performance and identify where content is most needed to capture relevant traffic

 

Ad management 
Owning the creation of ads, where relevant, and managing the performance of campaigns across social (LinkedIn, Twitter) & search (Google Ads).
 

Reporting
A crucial part of the role, you must be able to clearly communicate data and trends to internal stakeholders to demonstrate the effectiveness of our digital channels and be ready to offer your opinion on what is working and how and where we can improve
 

People and Relationship management

 

  • You will give strategic direction and leadership to our international digital team
  • Own and evolve relationships with external agencies and partners
  • Advise stakeholders on latest web and social media developments and opportunities for longer-term marketing strategy

 

 

What you’ll bring

 

 

  • Solid experience in web and social media strategy development and activation, either from a digital marketing role or from agency background
  • Aware of trends in digital marketing and how to leverage them to reach target audiences
  • Extensive experience of working with social media management platforms to schedule, monitor and analyse our social activity.
  • Deep understanding of organic, paid and earned social media principles across key social media platforms globally
  • Data-driven, analytical mindset, demonstrated knowledge in digital metrics, reporting and analytics
  • Used to working with and interpreting research, data and social analytics to improve insight, strategy and delivery
  • Ability to own end-to-end project delivery
  • People management experience and the willingness to self-develop of own and team’s knowledge according to market, customer, and CC requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
