FLS Technical Build Analyst

Based full-time in Hatfield

Working Hours: Shifts between the hours 07:00 – 19:00 (7.5hrs Shift) with 30 Minutes Lunch flexibility on hours may be requested

The Maintenance and Device Division of Computacenter is a dynamic environment, responsible for supporting various local and international customer builds throughout the SWAP build and repair cycle function. Main duties will include: - Support for Maintenance Services, acting as a point of contact for resolving, testing, troubleshooting customer build solutions. Documenting and detailing build processes when required. Confident in articulating MDM/SCCM solutions with Internal & external stakeholders. IT Hardware knowledge and technologies essential as device support may include Wintel/Apple/Cisco. Defining and reviewing internal processes to create a better Business Take On experience from transition into the Division. Internal / external customer tours of the facility.

 

Liaising with internal teams whilst building relationships. You will be extremely well organised with a consistent approach  to workloads able to multitask and be an ambassador for the division. You will be an excellent communicator and deliver against the core values of Field and Lifecycle Services. You will embrace change and be an advocate of our values.

 

What you’ll do

 

  • Business Take on Point of Contact
  • Document and build instruction Proof Reading and Writing
  • Troubleshooting software and hardware
  • Staging laptops and PCs with pre-defined builds, testing and pilot stages
  • Escalation POC for Division
  • Follow escalation process to resolve build issues
  • Review and access impacts to Build Outages within the division & escalate & document
  • Assistance in specific tasks where prompt investigation and resolution are required
  • Maintaining a functional tracking system to manage Business Take on projects
  • Weekly progress reports on activity
  • Distribute lessons learnt documentation
  • Apply a common approach for all Global customers of Computacenter

 

What you’ll need

 

  • Excellent Administration and communication skills, both written and Oral
  • Previous knowledge of Microsoft Applications
  • Previous experience of supporting IT equipment in a production environment
  • Good administrative experience, attention to detail, ensures accuracy of data, provides data for reporting and processing of information.
  • Previous experience working in a corporate IT environment is an asset.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Willing to take initiative and be hands-on.

  • Confidently present to Internal / external teams
  • Flexible, collaborator.
  • Experience in building effective relationships and Team working.
