As a GTS Commercial Manager you will be proactively maintaining and increasing GTS contribution across the Group (UK, France & Germany) by analysing the commercials in existing Customer contracts holding our suppliers accountable for their commitments. You will be responsible for reporting and analysing contract performance working alongside our Sales Teams and Purchasing to maximise contribution. 

 

What you’ll do 

 

  • The purpose of this role is to maintain and improve customer contribution in-life across complex GTS customer contracts.  
  • Manage a team across multiple geographies and set team objectives. 
  • Provide high level expertise within specialist area to peer group, customers and direct reports where appropriate.  
  • Responsible for managing P&L to maintain margins in line with customer agreements creating value add activities to increase contribution where possible.  
  • Acts as a point of escalation on complex technology sourcing issues and provide appropriate support to relevant GTS areas.  
  • Liaise with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure adoption of best practice and continual improvement in delivery of high service levels to the business. 
  • Identify continual process and ways of working improvements in relation to GTS contract management. 
  • Mitigate commercial risks during product transitions in line with Customer and supplier commitments. 

 

What you’ll need

 

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills in a product and commercial environment with at least three years of commercial and contract experience.  A background of dealing with suppliers and customers is desirable. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a creative approach to problem solving to increase profitability. Strong understanding of Microsoft Excell.
