We are growing our Developer Velocity team and are looking for a high performing Cloud Native sales specialist to engage with our largest customers. Here at Computacenter we offer you the opportunity to earn a lucrative financial reward in addition to career development.

The successful applicant will be responsible as a subject matter expert to engage, understand, qualify, propose and lead the successful closure of identified Cloud Native solutions or service opportunities.  

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Work with the Account team to identify Cloud Native opportunities and develop pipeline within Customers
  • To provide end-to-end ownership for specialist aligned opportunities
  • Support the qualification process with the customer account teams
  • Assisting the customer through a process of understanding their requirements, defining a solution, creating a compelling proposition and will be responsible for negotiating commercials and closing the deal
  • Responsible for managing the internal service providers and any external suppliers
  • Evaluate contract spend in a given organization in order to optimize spending patterns, technology usage, and implementation strategies  
  • Show insight and thought leadership to our customers and partners regarding Cloud Native contracts and commercial agreements
  • Develop strong knowledge of industry trends by developing proactive professional relationships with vendor partners
  • Provide leadership and knowledge to customers and maintain a strong presence in the platform and hybrid industry community
  • Develop strategy to maximise opportunities and grow market share

 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum of 5 years experience selling into Enterprise organisations
  • Minimum of 2 years experience selling Cloud Native solutions
  • Proven experience operating as a specialist / overlay
  • Proven track record of winning Cloud Native deals between £500k to £5million
  • Experience negotiating large, complex deals
  • Ability to build relationships and develop strategic partnerships
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding targets
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment
