Kick‑start your tech career in the Global Information Services (GIS) team — the people who keep our technology, governance, and customer solutions running smoothly. You’ll be right at the heart of cloud contact centre technology, helping shape how customers use Genesys Cloud, one of the most innovative platforms in the industry.
In this role, you’ll help shape how our customers design and use their Genesys Cloud services, gaining hands-on experience while learning from industry experts. You’ll support senior consultants during customer workshops, contribute to solution design discussions, and help ensure our recommendations follow best practice and align with customer goals. You’ll see how ideas are translated into real solutions before they’re passed to our build teams for implementation.
You won’t be doing it alone. You’ll join a friendly apprentice cohort, get real support from experienced teammates, and have a mentor who’s always in your corner. What you’ll do
You’ll spend 80% of your time gaining hands‑on experience and 20% working toward your Level 4 qualification.
Across the programme, you’ll rotate through three teams to explore different work styles, discover your strengths, and build real skills for a cloud technology‑ career.
Service Support – Learn the Foundations
- Support real customer requests and understand how our services run behind the scenes
- Learn how cloud contact centre systems are set up and maintained
- Work closely with experienced colleagues who’ll guide you step-by-step
Projects – Shape Customer Experiences
- Join planning sessions and help design customer journeys
- Support consultants as ideas become clear, practical solutions
- See how a project moves from first conversation to final delivery
Technical – Bring New Ideas to Life
- Learn how new features and services are built from the ground up
- Get hands on‑ with tools used in modern tech development
- Work with specialists on improvements, innovation, and future ‑focused projects
What you’ll need
- 2 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, including English and Maths.
- You must hold a Level 3 qualification (preferably in Business or STEM) or 3 A Levels
- Like solving problems and working through challenges with others
- Enjoy helping shape how things are designed and improved
- Want to make a real impact on how our customers use our services
- Are excited to learn, grow, and contribute new ideas
- Want to work in a team that values creativity, development, and fresh perspectives
Important Eligibility Information
Please note that for successful applicants, offers will be conditional on passing additional eligibility checks with our training provider. These checks include a Maths and English assessment and a review of any previous qualifications you hold.
Due to apprenticeship funding requirements, applicants must not already hold a BA (Hons) in Business Management, a BSc (Hons) in Computing & IT & Business, or an equivalent qualification. To be eligible for this programme, you must hold a Level 3 qualification (preferably in Business or STEM) and have GCSEs in English and Maths.
