Within Computacenter, since the establishment of our differentiating Group ERP systems and Group Operating Model, Computacenter’s Business Change (Industrialization) team has led large business change programmes that effect multiple business functions or countries.  Working closely with designated Global Process Owners, Subject Matter Experts from business functions and Group Information Systems teams the Industrialization team ensures that the end-to-end change objectives are achieved.


The Industrialization team works exclusively on Executive sponsored programmes of change utilising the deep knowledge of “How” Computacenter is most effective in working as one team to achieve the goals of our customers, our employees and our shareholders. 


This unique function enables change that delivers extensive long term value, often leading change activity that cannot be achieved by single units working in isolation, often challenging the status quo in the interest of achieving scalable success.

With a successful track record of Business Change Implementation, we are now expanding our team and are looking to introduce a Business Change Assistant who will support Change Managers in implementation of Business Change Initiatives in the Portfolio.


What you’ll do 

Reporting to the Business Change Portfolio Manager you will Support Change Managers in implementing Change Initiatives by managing assigned tasks and activities from the Change Implementation Plan, to include, but not limited to


  • Complete assigned activities, tasks and events in co-operation with and under the direction of the Change Manager; ensuring adherence to the Change Management Office governance standards, processes and practices.
  • Work with stakeholders to communicate resource requirements, build implementation schedules and produce required implementation deliverables
  • Be accountable for on-time execution of assigned activities and tasks, escalating any delays, risks or issues to the Change Manager
  • Support the Business Change Portfolio Manager in establishing the Change Management Office governance standards, processes and practices.
  • Maintaining MS Project Plans.
  • Provide status reports to the Change Manager for assigned activities, tasks and events.
  • Fulfil project assistant activities relevant to assigned work, to include, but not limited to:
    • Organising workshops and meetings, managing attendee invites and arranging rooms and dial-in facilities
    • Attending workshops and meetings, producing minutes and notes
    • Creating and managing action tracking logs arising from workshops and meetings, proactively chasing for action closure and escalating where required
    • Creating and managing risks and issues tracking logs, proactively chasing for status updates and escalating where required.
    • Hosting governance related meetings
    • Tracking resource requirements
    • Support with travel co-ordination
    • Tracking implementation costs including managing invoices, payments and timesheets
    • Production of PROSCI change management collateral such as the Change Management Strategy and Change Management Plan, including management of the Proxima Change Management Portal
    • Collate status updates from stakeholders supporting implementation of Change Initiatives
    • Support the Change Manager in production of, and management of, a Change implementation plan



  What you’ll need 


  • Formal accreditation or certification in Project Management or Change Management.
  • Previous demonstrable experience in delivering small projects or assigned tasks within a Business Change Initiative or Project
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Attending to detail, applying consistency and follow-through on ongoing activities.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Excellent MS Office skills with expertise in MS Excel and MS Project
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to work well with people from many different disciplines and backgrounds.
  • Ability to work within a team-oriented global culture
  • Ability to multi-task, be organised and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Abe to be self-sustaining, work independently and remain accountable.
  • Comfortable handling sensitive information under pressure
  • Ability to be flexible and multi-task on a daily basis
  • Confidence that you can thrive in a fast-paced Business Change environment
  • Experience in supporting ERP or any other large-scale IT-related Business Change is desirable.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role is highly desirable.
  • The ability to travel internationally is required.
