We are looking for individuals who wants to begin and build a career within Administration by joining our Apprenticeship programme.


You will be joining other apprentices within a large team. Some work experience in this area is beneficial but not essential. Our minimum entry requirements are five GCSEs at grade C/4 or above including Maths, English. You need to be confident using computer software, including Microsoft office, particularly excel. You need to be able to communicate with others as you’ll be working with several people within the business both in person and in writing.


You’ll need to be keen to learn and develop as this 18-month programme will cover networking, system knowledge, developing your soft skills and understanding the business needs. In terms of knowledge and experience fundamentally we are just looking for individuals with a flexible mindset and a ‘right first time’ mentality in everything they do.


Key Responsibilities
•    Undertaking apprenticeship programme training and updating portfolio of evidence on a regular basis
•    Raise Sales orders and purchase orders efficiently, promptly, and accurately to support business needs for large customers
•    Enable high customer satisfaction through effective (first time right) with checking over the orders to ensure all details are correct 
•    Liaising with internal teams to obtain information relating to sales order processing
•    Due Date Management – Responsible for updating due dates in SAP ERP system and ongoing management
•    Running reports and analysing data
•    General administration and data entry to support the teams and in line with departmental objectives
•    Delivery Discrepancies & Accounts Payable invoice management – processing of delivery and invoice discrepancies to ensure timely resolution
•    Undertaking relevant training courses
•    Developing a good understanding of IT systems used.

What's in it for you?
This apprenticeship will give you the qualification of an Advanced Level 3 in Business & Administration, you will achieve this by splitting your time completing your online course alongside work experience at Computacenter. This apprenticeship lasts for 18 months on a fixed term contract starting in July 2022 with an apprentice wage paid. There is no guarantee of a permanent job at the end of the contract, however successful completion of the apprenticeship programme will mean it is highly likely that you will be offered a full-time position at Computacenter.
