Reporting Developer

Your future tasks will be…

As a future member of our Group Technology Sourcing (GTS) team you will have the chance to take part in a constantly improving department, working across multiple European countries. As a Reporting Developer you will advise, design, build and run discrete, but essential reporting services for GTS, vendors and customers.

On a daily basis: 

• You design, program, package, and deploy all new dashboards primarily using Power BI
• You create interfaces and API constructs and schemes alongside other developers in the team to support dashboard function
• You act as thought leader for the design and implementation of professional quality dashboards with a high standard of storyboarding
• You set up scheduling systems for automation
• You manage reporting libraries
• You work with internal and external stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and design solutions
• You ensure adherence to legislation like GDPR or Works Council Agreements
• You create and publish all Executive and Sensitive reports
• You handle daily production, monitoring, and fixing of all dashboards utilised within GTS
• You manage the documentation of user requirements, new requirements, and changes to existing reports
• You liaise with the BI team in IS on projects
• You support internal customer relationships
• You liaise with colleagues to ensure best practice and identify opportunities for change to deliver continual improvement in service execution to the business
• You manage, develop, and coach your team, implementing performance management solutions where required
• You participate in and coordinate projects.

You are an ideal candidate if...

• You have several years of professional experience in similar environment
• You have very strong Power Bi skills or applicable Business Intelligence analytics tooling
• You are fluent in English (additional French or German would be an advantage)
• You use an excellent logical working method for problem analysis and resolution
• You have advanced MS Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
• You familiar with SQL, SharePoint and JavaScript or .NET programming
• You excel in presentation and communication skills
• You have analytical skills and can independently plan business activities
• You demonstrate value creation and market orientation in identifying problems, prioritizing alternatives, and implementing solutions
• You have knowledge of data warehousing methodology and database development
• You have knowledge of front-end web development.
