About the role:
An exciting opportunity to join the Global Business Enablement Operations Team (part of Global Business Enablement – Expert Services) has opened. You will be part of the management team and input into the direction and strategy that supports our longer-term vision goals.
The Global Business Enablement Operations (GBEOPs) Team (EMEA) is an established and growing team based in Budapest Hungary and is responsible for the global delivery of products and software to Computacenter’s global customer base. The Team works closely with other GBEOPs entities in APAC and India to deliver product solutions via Computacenter’s entities and Partner Network.
As the Manager of the Global Business Enablement Team (EMEA), your future tasks will be:
- Supporting the needs of our customers and lead country account teams in EMEA
- Delivering great customer service to Computacenter’s Global Clients
- Planning and distributing workload appropriately to ensure that business / customer needs & deadlines are met
- Resolving customer escalations / queries in a timely manner to avoid disruption and minimise business impact
- Effective management and leadership of a team of 8 including motivation, development, and coaching
- Operational resource planning, including search and selection of new team members
- Identifying training requirements that supports the team’s development and growth
- Holding regular team and 1-2-1 meetings
- Collaborating with key business functions to ensure the Global Business Enablement team meet growing customer requirements for International Product supply
- Suggesting and participating in continuous improvement and optimisation projects across the Group team to deliver operational efficiencies that enhance the customer experience
- Supporting the drive towards the use of group-wide processes and tools across Global Business Enablement

- 5+ Years of people management experience
- Ideally a good understanding of IT Vendor pricing programs
- The ability to lead, inspire and coach team members to support their personal development, creating an environment where people aspire to be the best they can be
- Ability to appreciate and navigate the challenges of cultural differences
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the gravitas to engage confidently with senior managers both internally and externally
- Experience in a customer service role and able to effectively handle customer escalations in a timely manner with experience of dealing with customers directly
- Experience of managing in an operational delivery environment with a measured approach and able to deal with high pressure situations in a calm and objective manner
- Comfortable taking ownership and accountability for effective decisions making
- A continuous improvement mind-set with the ability to identify and suggest process improvement programs
- Good understanding of the IT industry and the sales transactional lifecycle of B2B technology sourcing and supply for IT hardware, software, and services
- Strong process management skills with the ability to build structures to support ongoing business
- Excellent communication skills with good command of spoken and written English and the ability to communicate across cultures and with partners in different countries
