French speaking Technical Analyst (Cisco networking)

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Analyst – within Cisco technology to join our team. The successful individual will be responsible for providing technical support to internal sales teams and clients.


Roles & Responsibilities

 

60% Pre-sales Technical 

 

  • Produce technically validated specifications/ Bill of Materials using vendor best practice and tools, within published SLAs
  • Provide technical support to Sales: product advice to enable Computacenter to differentiate
  • Accurately and competently complete configurations within a defined complexity level
  • Utilise opportunities to cross and upsell
  • Champion an environment of continual improvement and personal development
  • Deliver excellent customer satisfaction to internal and external parties 
  • Advise on promotions/commercial offerings

 

20% Vendor Knowledge and Training

 

  • Hold and maintain vendor accreditations within the appropriate vendors to support own development and company requirements
  • Pro-actively keep technical knowledge up to date
  • Maintain strong internal/external relationships

 

20% Post Sales

 

  • Work with our Partner Management team to drive process changes and efficiencies
  • Work with large clients on updating their pre-defined bundles to ensure technical validity and to demonstrate ‘value add’

 

Key Requirements

  • Fluent French and English skills
  • Extensive knowledge and Pre-Sales expertise across the Cisco product portfolio:  networking, security and UC
  • Experience of dealing with technical queries from non-Technical people
  • Experience of Cisco configuration tool: CCW
  • Awareness of Cisco promotion mechanisms
  • Awareness of different Cisco support offerings
  • Focused on self development; technical and personal
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work within a team, and to self-motivate
  • Experience of working in a service driven role and to SLAs
  • Able to demonstrate a pro-active, positive approach
  • Demonstrable commercial awareness

 

Skills Desirable

 

  • Capable of confidently presenting to clients
  • Awareness of competitive vendor technologies
  • Extensive knowledge and Pre-Sales expertise in the full Cisco product portfolio:   Full range (Networking, Security, Unified Communications)
  • Holds up to date technical/sales accreditations relevant across the full Cisco product/services portfolio
  • Technical Sales experience
  • Holds up to date technical sales accreditations relevant to the Cisco Networking product ranges; Cisco CCNA
