French or German Speaking Sales Business Analyst

Your future tasks will be...

 

As a future member of our Group Technology Sourcing (GTS) global team you will have the chance to take part in a constantly improving department.

 

As a Sales Business Analyst you will provide advisory support across functional areas, performing complex technical or professional work. You will focus on software cost optimization to enhance customer savings, while demonstrating excellent customer service and relationship management skills. This role is crucial for successful software contracts, requiring expertise in licensing, procurement, and vendor negotiation.

 

On a daily basis:

 

  • You provide advisory roles within your specialist area to peer groups, customers, and direct reports if applicable
  • You participate in operational customer services
  • You assess situations, issues, and opportunities, escalating when appropriate
  • You establish productive relationships and networks at an operational level 
  • You respond to pricing requests and organize quotes from software suppliers
  • You drive negotiations with software vendors and distributors (building cost models, identify savings strategies, optimize software opportunities etc.)
  • You track savings and value that can be reported and measured to the customer
  • You collaborate with internal and external partners to meet procurement objectives.

 

You are an ideal candidate if…

 

  • You have few years of experience working in a challenging commercial environment
  • You have fluent English AND French or German skills
  • You have already worked in software procurement or sales
  • You are good in customer engagement and problem-solving
  • You can maintain consistency, accuracy, and professionalism under pressure
  • You possess good working knowledge of relevant functional systems
  • You have experience developing best practice policies and procedures for your functional area
  • You have worked in the software industry, ideally managing large vendors such as Citrix, Symantec, VMWare, IBM, Oracle, etc
  • You have excellent communication, organization, multitasking, and time management skills
  • You have good MS Office (especially Excel) and data visualisation (ie pyramid or power BI) skills
  • You have the ability to analyze information with attention to detail
  • You have a team player attitude and can work with and through others.
