As this is a new function in a new organisational unit, there may be opportunities to be involved in the wider project activities.


About the function & the role:

The Group Commercial Operations transformation programme has created a new Group Technology Operations (GTO) function. This function will play a lead role in driving end to end process efficiency and effectiveness to support Computacenter’s geographic expansion and drive for group standard processes.

Group Technology Operations will deliver Catalogue Based Quoting, Sales Order Management, Post Sales Customer Service, Purchasing, Purchasing Support and Sales Billing with the responsibilty for the timely, efficient and accurate ‘right first time’ entry and processing of customer sales orders in the relevant systems and tools.

The systems User Support role will be responsible for responding to systems support requests from GTO. Resolution of any issue which prevent sales order processing and assistance in processing complex transactions will be under the remit of this new role. You will also get involved in training, supporting and developing material to assist those in GTO.


Your future tasks will be...

  • Use your in-depth process, system knowledge and expertise to respond to support requests
  • Provide support, advice, and processing as required to ensure minimum disruption to the business
  • Record details of support requests and resolutions provided
  • Undertakes root cause analysis on the support request and actively working with stakeholders to identify permanent solutions that prevent re-occurance
  • Leads, supports and implements training plans


We are looking for you if…

  • You have 2+ years of experience in multinational environment preferably in product processing
  • Fluency in English and German is a must
  • Extensive Knowledge of SAP R3, MS Office, E-Business/E-Commerce Tools is necessary
  • Knowledge of the major IT manufacturers and their products and supply chain is an advantage
  • You have Customer oriented mindset, good communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • You have reliability, flexibility, conscientiousness, sense of responsibility and proven ability to utilise your own initiative
  • Willingness to travel
  • Understanding and knowledge of process improvement
