French Speaking Financial Trainee (Part-time)

Your future tasks will be...
The AR Trainee supports the Accounts Receivable team for the French portfolio by managing standard, low-complexity activities within the Order-to-Cash (O2C) process. The role focuses on administrative and operational support to ensure timely cash collection, dispute resolution, and data quality, while enabling collectors to prioritize higher-risk accounts.
On a daily basis:
- Manage routine AR activities that do not require prior collector validation
- Support the dispute management process
- Contribute to reducing dispute aging and volume
- Perform preliminary follow-ups on overdue invoices within defined scope
- Initiate customer or internal validation follow-ups from 60 days past due where applicable
- Maintain accurate records in AR systems (SAP and related tools)
- Support reporting activities by updating trackers and providing status updates
- Participate in weekly review meetings with Collectors
- Identify process gaps and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
You are an ideal candidate if...
- You are fluent in English and French
- You are able to work 20 hours per week
- You have basic understanding of finance or accounting principles (preferred)
- You have strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- You have ability to follow structured processes and respect deadlines
- You have good communication skills
- You have familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus
