French Speaking Commissions Analyst

Your future tasks will be…

On a daily basis:

• Administer all variable compensation according to documented bonus plans and ensure compensation is properly accounted for and settled in the appropriate timetables
• Build and audit commission and bonus reports
• Administer the Commissions software program, currently Varcient, as business administrator
• Support the Sales team by resolving commission payment inquiries
• Be a consultant to the management for compensation related issues
• Primary liaison between the Commissions team and all other departments as Legal, HR or Internal Service Providers
• Anticipate/identify problems and proactively resolve them or highlight the issues to management
• Oversee the calculation of manual commission and bonus payments as required
• Month end reconciliation work including commission sub ledger to income statement comparison and balance sheet account reconciliation
• Gain and maintain a deep understanding of compensation plans, source data and related business concepts
• Develop and document best practice process flows
• Innovate existing procedures and processes to find efficiencies that will allow department to reduce manual processes and shorten processing time
• Prepare monthly and ad hoc analyses
• Conduct regular audits of compensation plans and employee information to ensure plans and records comply with programs and best practices
• Partner with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Winning Together values

You are the ideal candidate if...

• You have Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration, or equivalent in experience.
• You are fluent in English and French.
• You have 3-5 years of finance or accounting experience.
• You have 1-2 years sales commission experience is an advantage.
• You have a high level of knowledge of Microsoft Excel (at least VLOOKUP, pivot tables and macros).
• You have an eye for detail, which enables you to be vigilant in your analysis in order to arrive at the correct conclusion(s).
• You have strong written and verbal communication.
• You are able to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• You have excellent organizational skills and able to prioritize and multitask.
• You are able to work independently and exercise discretion and personal discernment
• You have 100% confidentiality.
