Financial Reporting SME

Your future tasks will be…

 

 

 

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Reporting Subject Matter Expert to join our Finance Reporting & Business Process Development Team. This is a Finance Team Leader equivalent position, focused on technical leadership and process excellence, without direct people management responsibilities.

 

 

 

On a daily basis:

 

  • Be responsible for developing and maintaining Working Capital reports in Finance
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization and innovation in reporting, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Evaluate and respond to new report requests, assess feasibility
  • Develop, implement, and maintain automation solutions and related tools
  • Train employees on specific tools
  • Collaborate with functional managers and SMEs to implement metrics for business decisions
  • Automate reporting to improve cycle time and accuracy
  • Use existing data tools and systems to deliver work
  • Implement preventive and detective controls to mitigate operational risks
  • Provide clear documentation for backup and audit
  • Handle sensitive and confidential data, ensuring security
  • Ensure department/contract meets SLA performance targets
  • Prioritize workload to meet deadlines and customer requirements
  • Act in accordance with information security policies

 

 

 

You are the ideal candidate if...

 

 

 

  • You have advanced Excel skills (complex, multi-layer formulas, pivots)
  • You have expert VBA skills
  • You are proficient in Power BI, capable of designing, building, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports to support business decision-making
  • You have experience with SharePoint
  • You have experience of relevant business systems (SAP)
  • You have experience in automating interaction between SAP and MS Applications
  • You have experience in building attended and unattended Robotic Process and Desktop Automations, experience with Power Automate
  • You have proven analytical experience (turning data into meaningful operational analyses) 
  • You have experience in operational SSC processes (O2C or P2P is a must, but preferably both)
  • You have strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritise and execute multiple assignments effectively
  • You have effective communication and ability to present to senior stakeholders
  • You have good Administrative experience, attention to detail and accuracy
  • You have good interpersonal, literacy and numeracy skills and ability to build relationships
