English Speaking Master Data Specialist

Your future tasks will be… 

The Group Delivery Organization delivers global services for IT equipment.

As part of the organization, the Master Data Specialist Team, consisting of 5 experts, analyzes required technical manufacturer information to provide high level services for our customers.  

The team is responsible to create material master data on product and spare part level (such as Bill of material, pricing information, alternate materials, critical information, etc) out of the manufacturer systems and link them into our internal CRM / ERP systems. (SAP / Service Now).

On a daily basis:

• Preparation of manufacturer material data for maintenance business
• Access and research technical device information’s in manufacturers and suppliers data sources
• Compile the search result of data into Computacenter standardized system specifications
• Ensuring that all technical information, that is necessary to fulfil the customer contracts, are available
• Providing daily, weekly, monthly or ad hoc reports
• Develop strategic tools to monitor data accuracy
• Engage with business stakeholders to improve processes and deliver neccessary information.

You are the ideal candidate if....

• You have at least 1 years experience in such or similar position in IT field
• You are fluent in English (German is a huge advantage)
• You have technical knowledege around hardware
• You are familiar with Service Now or other ITSM Tools
• You have good organizational and time-management skills
• You are accurate with good analytical skills
• You have strong Excel skills (with Macro, VBA and SQL as an advantage)
• You have basic MS Office knowledge and strengths in AI‑driven automation
• You are able to work in a Virtual Team
• You are able to manage customer expectations and resolve significant customer issues whilst moving the business forward.
