The Technical Architect will deliver both pre and post sales technical consultancy to our customers, leading teams of consultants in delivery engagements as well as providing pre-sales qualification, bid response and design to consultancy engagements. As a senior team member, a Technical Architect has responsibility for providing technical leadership to the team and providing guidance to internal and external customers in defining complex technical strategies with leading edge technologies.

 

Role Responsibility
o    Lead, own and support the pre-sales, delivery and assurance of Microsoft 365 (focused on Teams and Voice capabilities), including responses to large-scale and complex customer opportunities, including ITTs, RFPs and RFIs
o    Developing customer relationships to achieve trusted advisor status in order to drive organisational change through the adoption of new technology 
o    Collaborate with the sales, technical delivery, and operational teams in the development of Microsoft 365 and voice-based solutions that meet customer requirements
o    Develop future service offerings and value propositions to keep Computacenter relevant to the market
o    Keep up to date with current and future market developments, technologies, products and strategies.

 

Key Skills/Knowledge
•    Extensive experience in Microsoft Teams
•    Extensive experience of Teams Governance 
•    Extensive experience of voice integrated solution to include Session Border Controller. It is expected that the successful candidate will have a strong background in Lync, Skype for Business and voice integrated solutions
•    Experience of meeting room solution
•    Experience of designing and implementing solutions utilising the following technologies;
o    M365 – Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive
o    Azure Active Directory 
o    On-premises Active Directory 
o    On-premises Exchange
o    Exchange / Active Directory migration
•    Professional Qualifications/Certifications in the technologies mentioned above.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•    Clearance – BPSS or SC  
•    Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Security (EMS)
•    SharePoint migration
•    Microsoft 365 Tenant to Tenant migration
•    Power Platform
•    AvePoint product suite
•    Microsoft Always-On VPN
