As a Programme Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping large-scale, complex programmes that drive real business change. You’ll lead from the front—guiding teams, influencing stakeholders, and ensuring every project delivers measurable outcomes. What you’ll do 

 

  • Lead major programmes and manage a team of Project Managers to deliver business-critical outcomes. 
  • Own the delivery approach—from defining programme structures to implementing governance and assurance frameworks. 
  • Drive success across the lifecycle, from pre-sales and proposal development through to delivery and benefits realisation. 
  • Engage stakeholders at all levels, influencing attitudes and ensuring alignment with customer governance and business needs. 
  • Forecast and optimise resources, balancing multiple assignments for maximum efficiency. 
  • Grow the practice, building capability and fostering a high-performing team culture. 
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing subject matter expertise and recommending best-fit methodologies. 

 

 

What you’ll need

 

  • A proven track record of delivering complex, high-risk programmes and multiple successful assignments. 
  • Leadership excellence with strong interpersonal and influencing skills. 
  • Experience in programme methodologies such as MSP, Prince2, Agile. 
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety (IOSH or equivalent) and CDM regulations. 
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and ability to articulate their business benefits. 
  • Strong assurance, governance, and business management capabilities. 
  • Excellent communication, literacy, and numeracy skills.
