Technical Analyst-Problem Analyst

Computacenter GIS business unit is seeking a confident and experienced Problem Analyst to bring maturity to their existing operational risk approach. The ideal candidate will have broad experience in Problem Management and can create a plan to deliver improvements then execute against the plan.
Good communication skills and relationship building will enable the candidate to excel at the role, build a culture of strong team and advance their career within Computacenter.
What you'll do
- Responsible for supporting and operating a best-practice Problem Management function, focusing on known errors and problems across applications. The Problem Analysis will also drive proactive problem management through data insights and reporting, ensuring continuous high performance and improvement.
- Proactive Problem Identification – Assist in trend analysis and reporting to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Management – Assist in reactive and proactive problem investigations.
- Business-Focused Prioritisation – Ensure problem cases are prioritised based on business impact and urgency.
- Cross-Team Collaboration – Work with service providers, operational teams, and stakeholders to drive resolution.
- Knowledge Management – Document and share known errors, root causes, and lessons learned across teams.
- Stakeholder Communication – Provide high-quality updates to relevant stakeholders on problem resolution progress.
- Continuous Improvement – Analyse trends and implement measures to prevent recurring issues.
- Compliance & Governance – Maintain adherence to ITSM processes and regulatory requirements.
- Data-Driven Decision Making – Use ITSM tools to generate insights and improve service performance.
- Time & Workload Management – Adapt to changing priorities while managing high workloads effectively.
- Initiative - Operate under the mentorship of Problem ManagerWhat you'll need
- ITIL 4 Foundations
- ITIL 4 Qualification in problem Management.
- Excellent spoken and written Business English skills and the ability to write clear and concise text for different audiences
- Strong personal organisational skills and ability to manage own time to meet deadlines
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a flexible work environment and multiple locations if needed.
