Senior Technical Analyst-Dev/NetOps

Computacenter India is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Senior Network Engineer with strong core networking expertise and a proven network automation background. The role combines traditional Level 3 network operations with Dev/NetOps ways of working to reduce manual effort, improve consistency, accelerate change delivery and strengthen service reliability.The successful candidate will support and improve critical network infrastructure across global Computacenter offices, while actively building reusable

What you'll do 

  • Adopt an automation-first mindset: identify repetitive, high-volume or high-risk operational activities and convert them into repeatable automation workflows.
  • Develop, maintain and improve network automation scripts, playbooks and workflows using Python, Ansible and REST APIs for activities such as configuration backup, compliance checks, pre/post-change validation, reporting and standard changes.
  • Apply Infrastructure as Code principles to network configuration and operational artefacts, ensuring changes are version-controlled, peer-reviewed, tested and reusable.
  • Support CI/CD for network changes by contributing to automated validation, linting, configuration testing, approval gates and controlled deployment pipelines before production rollout.
  • Create reusable templates and self-service network capabilities for standard, pre-approved operational requests where appropriate.
  • Use source-of-truth data, structured data formats and automation-friendly inventory models to improve accuracy, consistency and auditability.
  • Build automated health checks, drift detection, compliance reporting and reliability controls to reduce operational risk and improve proactive monitoring.
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering and tooling teams to embed backlog-driven delivery, Kanban ways of working and continuous improvement into network operations.

What you'll need 

  • 7 to 12 years of relevant experience in managing critical enterprise network infrastructure across routing, switching, firewalls, wireless, WAN/LAN and datacentre technologies.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on network automation experience in operations, engineering or delivery environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • CCNA or CCNP certification is desired; equivalent hands-on experience will also be considered.
  • Experience in project deployment or operational transformation activities such as SD-WAN rollouts, datacentre network changes, firewall migrations, wireless upgrades or automation-led operational improvements is an advantage.
  • Experience with network source-of-truth platforms such as NetBox or equivalent inventory-driven automation approaches.
  • Exposure to observability, event enrichment, automated remediation or AIOps concepts for network operations.
  • Experience building dashboards or operational reports from automation outputs and monitoring data.
  • Understanding of secure automation practices, credential management, secrets handling and audit-friendly change controls.
  • Experience working with Agile/Kanban backlogs for operational improvement and product-aligned service delivery.
