Senior Manager-Automation & AI

Computacenter GIS business unit seeking a visionary and results-driven Senior Manager – Automation & AI to lead the design, development, implementation and support of automation and AI solutions in Group Information System. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking and leadership to drive innovation, improve operational efficiency and deliver measurable business outcomes. .

What you'll do

 

  •  Identify high-impact use cases and prioritize initiatives based on ROI and feasibility. 
  •  Collaborate with senior stakeholders to drive digital transformation and innovation. 
  • Oversee large-scale automation and AI programs, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and value realization. 
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. 
  • Establish KPIs and success metrics to track performance and impact. 
  • Lead and mentor a team of architects, developers, and analysts. 
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning. 
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of automation and AI solutions, from ideation to deployment. 
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and integrated with enterprise systems (e.g., ServiceNow, SAP, data platforms, Infrastructure Monitoring platforms). 
  • Monitor performance and drive optimization of deployed solutions. 
  • Establish best practices, standards, and governance frameworks for automation and AI. 
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and ethical AI guidelines. 
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business and IT leaders on automation and AI opportunities. 
  • Communicate complex technical concepts in business-friendly language. 
  • Drive change management and user adoption across teams. 

 

 

What you'll need

 

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 
  • 12+ years of experience in IT or digital transformation, with 3+ years in automation/AI leadership roles. 
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT ecosystems, APIs, and data integration. 
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Experience in managing global teams and working in Agile/DevOps environments. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a flexible work environment and multiple locations if needed.
