What You’ll Do

As a Project Manager – Refresh & Space Optimization Projects, you will work on:

  • Laptop Refresh Projects: Plan, execute, and oversee end-to-end laptop deployment, including procurement, imaging, deployment, and disposal. Coordinate with vendors, IT, and logistics to ensure timely hardware availability and smooth handover of new devices. Manage asset tracking, compliance, and EOL device disposal, and facilitate Day 1 support for end-users.
  • Space Optimization Projects: Lead workspace assessments and restructuring to enhance efficiency. Collaborate with Global Real Estate (GRE) and IT for workspace design approvals, oversee IT asset moves, and ensure minimal business disruption. Conduct site surveys, pre-validation, and manage project timelines, risks, and costs.
  • General Project Management: Track progress using dashboards and status reports, update SMH for deployed assets, and ensure all activities align with client expectations and organizational standards.
  • PM experience with end user computing with Hands on refresh and project activities. 
  • Experience in Waas, Daas, Xaas – Deployment

What You’ll Need

  • 8–15 years of relevant project management experience, preferably in IT infrastructure, workspace, or asset management projects.
  • Training in Project Management (e.g., Prince2 Foundation, Agile) and a proven track record of delivering successful outcomes.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to adapt communication style to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project) and project management platforms (e.g., SNOW, Intune, Smart Hub).
  • Technical understanding of hardware configurations, software deployment, and IT infrastructure.
  • Experience in asset management, workspace planning, and vendor coordination.

Project Management Experience

  • Successfully managed end-to-end Laptop Refresh and Space Optimization projects, ensuring seamless execution and minimal disruption.
  • Skilled in tracking productivity, cost, and vendor payouts, with a focus on compliance and documentation.
  • Proficient in risk and issue management, escalation handling, and milestone tracking.

Experience Partner Management

  • Coordinated with vendors, IT teams, and logistics for hardware procurement and deployment.
  • Managed relationships with GRE, internal service providers, and external partners to ensure project success.

Client-Facing Role

  • Extensive experience engaging with client leadership, end-users, and cross-functional teams.
  • Led stakeholder meetings, provided project updates, and ensured alignment with client objectives.

Productivity Tracking

  • Maintained detailed trackers, dashboards, and project status reports for both laptop refresh and space optimization initiatives.
  • Monitored project progress, risks, and cost adherence.

Tools

  • Experienced with SNOW, Intune, Smart Hub, and other relevant project management and IT asset tracking tools.

IT Infrastructure Technologies Relevant to This Role

  • Deep understanding of end-user computing, workspace layouts, and IT asset movement.
  • Hands-on experience with lift-and-shift projects and workspace optimization.

Change Management

  • Proactively communicated potential risks and changes to stakeholders, ensuring formal approval before implementing scope, cost, or timeline adjustments.
  • Updated project plans and maintained accurate records of all changes.

Business Management

  • Supported account strategy and contributed to the growth of professional services.
  • Managed contract scope negotiated Statements of Work, and ensured commercial acceptance of changes.

Financial Management

  • Delivered projects within agreed financial baselines, supporting accurate forecasting, invoicing, and cost management.

Relationship Management

  • Built and maintained positive relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and customers to achieve satisfaction targets.

People Management

  • Led and motivated project teams provided coaching and feedback, and supported the development of less experienced members.
