Life on the team

 

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a role as Global Stocklevel Manager to join Computacenter’s dynamic and rapidly expanding Group Managed Service Organization.

You will be responsible for the global inventory and movement of service products (IT-devices) necessary to service international CC customers. You ensure the availability of the service products (IT-devices) in the worldwide, decentralized warehouses and Customer / Partner Onsite Locations and addressing availability problems proactively. You will track all goods movements E2E and you are in close contact with the internal CC departments and customer accounts, as well the external partners who provide the logistics and warehouse services for CC.

In a regular frequence you need to ensure the management of Partner and Onsite Stock audits, comparing the IT device asset data in the systems and drive corrections and improvements

 

What You’ll Do

 

Availability Management

 

  • Ensuring sufficient availability of IT devices in Partner and Onsite locations worldwide and early detection of possible stock shortages with initiation of proactive measures
  • Initiation of IT device orders up to managing the availability of the IT devices with booking in the designated locations / reconciliation. Compare the ordered quantity on serial no. level
  • Implementation of new service products in the run-up to delivery, e.g., asset creation, stockroom creation, preparation of initially stored SN for further internal use

 

Inventory controlling

 

  • Monitoring and comparison of worldwide stocks and movements between CC systems and partner systems
  • Monitoring of throughput times in the respective storage locations at ticket level and taking measures in case of overruns
  • Ensuring that data between CC and partners is synchronized 100% correctly on demand or or within scheduled annual stock audits (reconciliation and manage discrepancies)
  • Monitoring and comparison of the calculated and current failure rates

 

Partner management (internal and external)

 

  • Setting up KPI performance dashboard and reconciliation of the partner performance or internal process performance (monthly) at location level.
  • Detection of quality problems, derivation, and implementation of appropriate improvement measures (internal or external), including clarification of differences.

 

Team (functional responsibility)

 

  • Organization and implementation of regular interface meetings and active participation, from a functional responsibility, and communication interface between internal and external partners
  • Ensuring a timely flow of information to all staff in case of process changes, differences, or escalations
  • Initiation of measures in case of internal process deltas or missing information
  • Active participation and/or independent organization of team or project meetings
  • Passing on knowledge standards and training and supporting new employees

 

Projects

 

  • Support in internal projects to optimize / expand existing services (operational processes / IS systems and transactions / IS interfaces)
  • (Change management) Identifying process deltas and automating existing processes or work steps

 

What You’ll Need

 

 
  • Professional experience or studies in a commercial or business administration position (at least 5 years of professional experience within the IT industry).
  • Very good analytical skills and a pronounced understanding of numbers as well as the preparation and presentation of data
  • Very good process, manufacturer and company knowledge in the field of maintenance
  • High level of self-motivation and independent working style in the implementation of individual or team-oriented objectives
  • Ability to make decisions and implement them quickly and sustainably Strong strategic thinking skills
  • High level of problem-solving competence and solution-oriented approach as well as entrepreneurial and process-oriented thinking and acting
  • High degree of reliability, distinct ability to work in a team, resilience and flexibility even in stressful situations
  • Very good experience in the use of applications (SAP, MS Office applications (esp. Excel PowerPoint, Data Cubes, Access databases (Power BI)
  • Strong communication skills (internal and external contact at all levels)
  • Good time management and self-organisation, ability to work in a structured manner even under pressure
  • Basic experience in project management
  • Team-oriented thinking and working with experience in moderation Presentation and motivation of teams
  • Flexibility & willingness to travel
  • Good written and spoken English
