HR Generalist

In Spain we are a Global Service Desk. We tailor IT related knowledge and services, and assist every employee and business partners of our customers as an individual, by finding practical solutions to their IT problems.
Join our team as an HR Generalist! You'll play a key role in managing payroll, ensuring compliance, guiding employees on payroll matters, among other key tasks in our employees' employment relationship. If you're detail-driven and passionate about HR, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
· Process payroll, ensuring timely and accurate salary payments, deductions, and compliance with tax regulations.
· Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve issues related to compensation, deductions, and tax withholdings.
· Maintain payroll data integrity and ensure employee records comply with data protection regulations.
· Stay informed about industry best practices, legal requirements, and emerging trends within HR.
· Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with local labour regulations.
· Provide administrative, operational, and legal assistance within the
organisation.
· Support and assist with the employee exit and onboarding processes.
· Managing changes to employee terms and conditions in collaboration with our external supplier.
· Actively participates in the implementation of new HR Admin processes.
· Prepare regular HR Reports.
· Serve as the point of contact for inquiries related to permissions, benefits, or internal processes through a ticketing system (Remedy)
Requirements:
. 1.5 to 2 years of local payroll experience.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
· Experience with automated payroll systems and external payroll providers.
· Strong sense of confidentiality and professionalism when managing sensitive payroll data.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Fluency in English and Spanish
· Basic understanding of labour laws related to payroll.
· Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
· Conflict Resolution: Ability to mediate and resolve disputes fairly and efficiently.
Nice to have:
· Experience with SAP HCM and SAP SuccessFactors.
