Deskside Engineer

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Deskside Engineer within TRG. This is an exciting opportunity based in Vitoria, Monday to Saturday, this position is on-site where you will work in collaboration with the customer and reporting to the TRG´s Technical Team Manager.
What is this all about?
- Call acceptance
- Receiving incidents (HW, SW faults and problems)and problems) by:
- Telephone
- Intranet form
- Fax,
- E-mail if necessary,
- Web tickets
- Acceptance of service requests andforwarding to the responsible assignment groupTicket creation
- Acceptance and recording of incidents in the ticket system
- Prioritization of all tickets according to specifications (operating model)
- Classification of all incoming incidents according to the specified definition
- Recording of all data and information required for processing and resolving the incident
- Qualification on the basis of a knowledge base [page] Incident description and processing (e.g.incident containment, incident resolution or forwarding)
- Analysis of incoming incident reports
- Identification of the cause of a malfunction on the basis of a knowledge base, which is continuously maintained by the Contractor
- Processing of a checklist
- Diagnosis (including checking the availability of the applications to be supported) of the reported incident
based on the known and obtained information with the aim of solving and eliminating the incident
- Solve the Incident directly as far as possible. If possible, an attempt at resolution is made via remote access
- Document all resolution actions and status changes performed by the IT control center in the respective ticket. If the ticket cannot be resolved,
it is forwarded to the responsible downstream unit. In urgent cases and in specially defined situations,
the responsible downstream unit is also informed by telephone
- If the IT control center is unable to resolve the ticket immediately, inform the user of the next steps and provide the ticket number
- Update tickets within the IT control center on an ongoing basis until they are closed
- Process the various incidents in accordance with the relevant work instructions.

- You are an IT professional passionate with the digital enablement
- You haved successfully completed a Ciclo Formativo de Grado medio en Informática.
- You have at least 2 years of experience.
- Fluent in Spanish
- You have driving licence.
