Technical Consultant-SAP SM/PS

Computacenter GIS business unit is seeking a confident and experienced SAP Professionals, to bring maturity to their existing operational approach.  The ideal candidate will have broad experience in SAP Project Systems/ Service Management and can create a plan to deliver improvements then execute against the plan.

What you'll do 

  • Lead and manage SAP PS/SM projects from initiation to post-implementation support, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors, to gather business requirements and design SAP PS/SM solutions that align with organizational goals.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of existing supply chain processes and systems to identify gaps and opportunities for process optimization and automation.
  • Configure and customize SAP PS/SM modules to meet business requirements, including material master data management, purchasing, inventory management, goods receipt, goods issue, stock transfers, and physical inventory.
  • Define and implement warehouse structures, including storage types, storage sections, storage bins, and storage unit management, to optimize warehouse operations and inventory accuracy.
  • Perform data migration activities, including data extraction, cleansing, and transformation, to ensure smooth transition from legacy systems to SAP

What you'll need 

 

  • Deep skills in Service Management and Project Systems Module and configuration
  • Extended knowledge in SD and PM incl. configuration
  • Extended knowledge about the common standard processes like Order-to-cash or Procure-to-Pay.
  • Wider skills about the Service and Maintenance processes
  • Technical understanding especially in terms of interface troubleshooting.
  • Strong customer focus and communication skills
  • Ability to train people
