Life on the team

Computacenter GIS business unit is seeking a confident and experienced SAP Professionals, to bring maturity to their existing operational risk approach.  The ideal candidate will have broad experience in enterprise IT risk management and can create a plan to deliver improvements then execute against the plan.

Good communication skills and relationship building will enable the candidate to excel at the role, build a culture of strong risk management and advance their career within Computacenter.

What you'll do

• You are part of an SAP Applications Department within a global acting Support Team of currently 7 people.
• In cooperation with the technical consultants of the team, you are working in a hybrid solution and ensure the ongoing production operation for all SAP users at international group level.
• After a comprehensive onboarding, you have a fundamental overview about our internal SAP processes, and actively support our users and ensure qualified SAP second level support for the SAP system.
• You are analysing and fixing upcoming technical SAP issues.
• You are Monitoring the issue tracking system for newly user issues and follow process to meet service level agreements.
• You create knowledge-based articles to help user mitigate or circumvent known problems.
• You Assist with upgrades, new releases and monitor performance of the technical objects.
• You implement customer requirements and correct errors using SAP customizing or SAP ABAP/4 programming: BAPIs, BADIs, RFCs, IDOCs, LSMW, Smartforms, user exits, BDC coding and interfaces.
• You develop enhancements.
• You are writing technical specifications.

What you'll need

• Technical education or studies in IT or a comparable qualification/professional experience.
• Advanced knowledge of ABAP OO Programming and knowledge how to analyse issues via Debugging.
• First experience with S4 Hana is an advantage.
• Hands-on mentality
