Technical Analyst - Cloud Engineer
Life on the team
- The Cloud Engineer will support the Cyber Operations function in delivering core cyber defence services to Computacenter
- Key to the role is building and maintaining Azure Cloud resources and Automation that underpins the SIEM and SOAR capability which supports the Security Operations Center within Computacenter.
What you’ll do
- Support the SOC Engineering team by managing the cloud resources that automate the protective security controls delivering SOAR (Security Orchestration Automation & Response) capabilities.
- Build and maintain application services within Microsoft Azure such as Logic Apps, Function Apps and App Service Plans
- Support detection engineering by applying DevOps and Azure automation capabilities to the process.
- Manage and maintain the Azure DevOps integration with Microsoft Sentinel for artifact management and code repository.
- Build and maintain reporting around Azure DevOps and deployed Azure resources.
- Develop and maintain automation code.
- Support the onboarding / offboarding assets to the security monitoring applications with DevOps automation and Data Collection Rules.
- Apply best practise security to resources built in Azure Cloud by the SOC Engineering team.

What you’ll need
- Microsoft Azure Certifications – AZ-104, AZ-400
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Deployment, Development & Automation
- Experienced in working with DevOps workflows
- Experienced in building and maintaining Azure DevOps
- Experienced in building Azure Logic Apps
- Experienced in building Function Apps and maintaining App Service Plans
- Experienced in Coding and scripting (PowerShell, Azure-CLI, Python etc.)
- Experienced in REST API integrations
- Experienced in working with ARM templates and Infrastructure as code
- Authoring of complex and quality reporting.
- Analytical approach to problem solving
Desirable:
- Familiar with Power Automate and PowerBI
- Microsoft Azure Certifications – AZ-500, AZ-900, SC-200, SC-900
- Experience in working within a SOC environment
- Familiar with Microsoft Sentinel
- Familiar with Azure Log Analytics
- Familiar with Azure Arc
