What you’ll do
- Strong in the lifecycle of Hardware asset management (HAM) processes
- Possess end to end understanding in CMDB; preferably, having a prior understanding in defining and maintaining CMDB.
- Should possess managing remote asset management activities for external customers cut across in global locations.
- Perform verification and regular audits of CMDB information.
- Ensure the linkage between CMDB and ITIL Processes, such as Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalogue and Financial Management are maintained and offer optimum value.
- Works with functional management, vendor management and contract management functions to review technology resources (hardware / software), configuration, and vendor purchase agreements.
- Establishes linkage with configuration management, budgeting and procurement processes to track asset acquisition, utilization, configuration and retirement of assets.
- Oversees the delivery of IT asset and configuration reports, including management reports (SLAs and KPIs)
- Shall also work closely with the customer/stakeholders to develop recommended practices and continual improvement around the IT asset management processes.
- Maintains working knowledge of IT asset and configuration management industry practices.
- Maintain IT asset and configuration management procedures and monitors compliance with IT asset management policies, procedures and standards.
- Performs IT risk assessments on key IT infrastructure assets, as needed.
- Implements procedures for information asset protection standards, as needed.
- Maintains and implements enterprise-wide infrastructure asset logging procedures.
- Periodically conduct change audit compliance to improve the overall effectives of the asset management process.
What you’ll need
- We are looking for resource with minimum 4yrs to 7yrs experience in Asset Management.
- Good understanding of ITIL and service management principals.
- Excellent team worker, able to work in virtual global teams in a matrix organization.
- ITIL v3/v4 foundation certified (mandatory).
- Shall possess excellent soft skills as this is a direct client facing role.
- Open to learning ITIL Processes within DC.
- Willing to work on multiple accounts.
