Technical Analyst

Technical Analyst – Wintel

Responsibilities 

• You will perform a complex range of technical work activities either remotely or at customer site to meet business and customer requirements. 
• You will be contributing to the design and implementation of solutions to meet customer and contract requirements. 

• Coordinate small teams delivering basic work packages in line with company process to meet business and customer requirements. 
• You will be responsible to analyse, document and report on work completed to ensure compliance with Company and Customer Procedures. 
• Ensures that operational documentation is fit for purpose and current to meet customer and contract requirements. 
• You will develop best practice procedures and guidelines to ensure consistent compliance to customer and company procedures. 
• You will be expected to provide specialist guidance and advice to less experienced colleagues to ensure consistent approach. 

• You will be expected to follow escalation matrix for internal operations, vendors and customer  

Experience & Requirements 

• 4+ years’ experience in managing, maintaining and troubleshooting large enterprise environments. 
• Good knowledge on ITIL frameworks 
• Expert knowledge and troubleshooting skills on Microsoft Windows Server Administration Windows 2k3/8/12/16 

• Excellent knowledge and troubleshooting skills on Microsoft Exchange 2010 & online.  
• Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Windows, Clustering, VMware, backup/recovery, high availability, monitoring, performance tuning, optimization, and disaster recover 
• Experience on Microsoft Defender 365, SharePoint & Microsoft Server Patching 
• Should be proficient with server user management, file permissions, Active Directory, group polices, security, etc. 
• Must have experience in performing RCA, reporting after resolutions 

• Good PowerShell scripting skills 
• Administrative experience in large enterprise related to Server virtualization Technology like VMware with hands on experience in WSUS and SCCM with experience in server work, installing server OS patches and/or other configuration changes as needed. 
• Must have excellent debugging and problem analysis skills. 
• Analytical abilities, Strong Technical Skills, Good communication skills
