What you’ll need
• 6+ years relevant hands-on experience in CA PM(Broadcom), CA Spectrum (Broadcom) monitoring tools.
• Able to upgrade the image version in CA Spectrum (Broadcom), CA PM(Broadcom)
• Hands-on experience to recover CA Spectrum tool from old Database backup file
• Hands-on experience on user, device addition/deletion on CA spectrum and CA PM Broadcom tool.
• Hands-on experience on network and security devices addition/deletion on CA spectrum and CA PM Broadcom tool.
• Hands-on experience to manage trap-storm alert
• Hands-on experience on SNMP profile creation in CA spectrum monitoring tool.
• Hands-on experience on CA PM tool to generate various reports - WAN interface utilization, switch port availability, CPU and Memory utilization, NetFlow top talkers reports, Maintenance, Top 10 and Device availability reports.
• Able to coordinate with Broadcom vendor for CA spectrum related issues.
• Knowledge on ITIL framework which includes Incident, Change, Problem management.
• Basic understanding on cisco switching and routing concepts, IP addressing and subnetting.
What you’ll do
• Remote management - Perform a range of technical work activities remotely to meet business and customer requirements.
• You will be working on industry leading technology and products including CA Spectrum (Broadcom), CA PM(Broadcom).
• You will be following up with server team during patch upgrade activities carried on CA Spectrum server. Able to manager version upgrade in CA spectrum server.
• You will be following up with CA Spectrum (Broadcom), CA PM(Broadcom) vendor for incidents related to the monitoring tools.
• Working with internal team to add/delete/re-model devices into CA spectrum tool.
• Working with internal team to share various reports captured through CA Spectrum (Broadcom), CA PM(Broadcom) tool.
• You will be sharing Availability reports and device maintenance reports on monthly basis. You will be sharing top 10 alarm and event reports on weekly basis.
• Knowledge on management agent lost functionality in the spectrum monitoring tool.
• Keep skills up to date with IT industry standards as appropriate to the role/contract.
