Senior Technical Analyst-Shift Lead

Computacenter GIS business unit is seeking a confident and experienced Network Security Professionals, to bring maturity to their existing operational risk approach.  The ideal candidate will have broad experience in enterprise Network Security and can create a plan to deliver improvements then execute against the plan.

Good communication skills and relationship building will enable the candidate to excel at the role, build a culture of strong Network team and advance their career within Computacenter.

What you'll do

 

  • Technical background in IT & Operations, minimum 5 years of experience
  • ITIL knowledge, experience with Incident & Problem managements
  • Possessing fundamental knowledge of IT especially Network including Cloud technologies
  • Prior experience in a leadership role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures

 

What you'll need

 

  • Creating & maintaining of shift roster
  • Oversee the daily operations of the team during their assigned shift. Look at shift handover after each shift, act as RFS Engineer, shift handover during change of roster and holiday, etc.
  • Ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Monitor team members to ensure that they are meeting performance expectations
  • Provide coaching and feedback to team members as needed
  • Communicate with other departments and management to ensure that all goals are being met
  • Assist with training new team members
  • Handle customer complaints, escalations and issues as needed
  • Ensure that all safety protocols are being followed
  • Working on P1 outage, problem management and improving of process, procedures, and technical knowledge
