Senior Technical Analyst - Operational Technology, SCADA, HMI

  • This role will be primarily focused on delivering a BAU / Project services within a shared service delivery model.

What you’ll do

 

  • Perform a range of technical work activities remotely to meet business and customer requirements.
  • Escalate issues in line with company processes to ensure customer demands are met
  • Able to communicate on issues to meet business and customer requirements to avoid escalations.
  • Provide customer service to internal and external customers to ensure consistent experience.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to dynamic team environments to maintain consistent effective contribution.
  • Ensure Department/Contract meets SLA performance targets.
  • Maintain and improve customer satisfaction levels.
  • Understand and adhere to policies and procedures.
  • Keep skills up to date with IT industry standards as appropriate to the role/contract.

 

What you’ll need

 

  • Experience with minimum 6+ years with min 3 years exp in OT (Operation Technology).
  • 3+ years’ experience in a SOC analyst role
  • Prior experience as a SOC analyst in an industrial/production compancy is mandatory.
  • Creation of OT specific analysis/response playbooks
  • Brief and coach the large Security analyst team on new OT/IT Security monitoring use cases
  • Participate in threat hunting in the OT/IT environment.
  • Participate in the intrusion analysis of the IT environment.
  • Perform and document incident analysis to conclusion. 
  • Transmit security incidents to the appropriate teams for remediation and follow up on the incident to resolution.
  • Assist IT and OT automation teams in understanding security issues and applying mitigation strategies.
  • Keen ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues. 
  • Good understanding of IT Infrastructure landscape and the various components especially active directory, Kerberos, adcs…
  • Solid and proven knowledge of production automation components like SCADA, HMI and PLC and their corresponding communication protocols like PROFINET, MODBUS, SIMATIC S7, OPC
  • Good knowledge of TTP’s and more specifically Att&ck for ICS
  • Solid and proven knowledge of OT environments (Purdue Model) to identify possible security risk and to design and develop custom threat detection to mitigate these risks.
  • Experience with OT network monitoring tools like Dragos, Nozomi, Claroty, CyberX (defender for IoT)
  • Experience with network monitoring tools like e.g. Suricata, Zeek
  • Experience with endpoint protection and application whitelisting.
