Senior Technical Analyst - Kubernetes Administrator

It’s an exciting time to join the Threat Intelligence Team as it’s still in its infancy – so bring your experience and help us shape the team. Once we’re at full capacity, our work will touch every part of the business. So, you’ll get to know the ins and outs of Computacenter in no time.


You’ll work as part of a team of five specialists and analysts. We’ve got big plans – there are so many things we already want to do – and if you’ve got specific areas, you’re passionate about, we’ll encourage and support you to follow that.


What you’ll do


  • Identify and contextualise threats to Computacenter.
  • Lead briefings, informing colleagues and relevant teams to help them understand what the threat is.
  • Create threat reports, intelligence reports, briefings, and presentations.
  • Allocate tasks relevant to identify threats that need further investigating.
  • Lead your proactive projects to identify operational, reputational, and financial threats.
  • Liaise with government partners and industry experts.


What you’ll need


  • 1st and 2nd Level Incident Support with 6 to 8 year of experience.
  • Operations handling of the Managed Container Management and Orchestration, incl. Incident & Change Management (e.g. OS Recovery / Maintenance), Patch management, Security management: e.g. patching (on demand).
  • Implementation/operation base on Terraform Modules, Github and Cloud Services
  • Providing Information for a proper Backup and Recovery of System Configuration, Customer Data
  • Audit Support on Demand Support in case of internal and external audits (e.g. IT Security/Work-ers Council).
  • Provide reporting for e.g. Incidents, Changes, Resolution times.
  • Set up and maintain automated integration with necessary tools (e.g., reporting, discovery monitoring)
  • Set up and conduct Continuity Management (e.g. creation and testing of recovery plans, fired rills)
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
  • Experience with a Ticket Tool (example HPSM, BMC, ServiceNow, …)
  • Work proactively on the Tickets and Problems.
  • Don’t wait on instructions by your team colleagues or manuals for each kind of issue.
  • Understanding what Kubernetes is used for and how it works 
  • Understanding how to read a YAML File
  • Experience in working with kubectl commands
  • Experience in working with git, terraform and helm
