Life on the Team
The IAM Operations Manager will be a key contributor to the Identity and Access Management solution within Computacenter, driving and delivering the provisioning and de-provisioning requirements of identities and access entitlement into Computacenter’s systems, as well as providing essential periodic review, audit and documentation capabilities. The IAM Operations Manager will lead a globally distributed team responsible for performing key operational activities within the Identity & Access Management team to provide operational provisioning and de-provisioning to all Computacenter users, and 3rd parties requiring access to Computacenter Group systems. Additionally, the team will provide reporting, audit support, and periodic review capabilities to the IAM department.
What You'll Do
Leadership: (~30%)
- Define and implement a global service to deliver operational services to Computacenter and its 3rd parties.
- Establish a supportive service to the IAM department for audit, reporting and periodic review purposes.
Leadership requirements
- Be a Leader - lead, motivate and inspire the team to successfully achieve the team’s objectives and key results.
- Be a People Leader - Serve as a mentor/coach and “talent magnet” who inspires at all levels within Computacenter and demonstrates an ability to attract and retain top talent.
- Be a Decision Maker – provide oversight on Identity Management.
- Be Collaborative – Maintain strategic and collaborative relationships with Head of IDAM, Cyber Operations Director, Peers and Heads, SMO, BISO, GRC, OCIO, Product Managers, Platform Owners and CTO function.
- Mediate as an independent SME on matters of Identity Management dispute within the CC Group; act as a final escalation point for the Identity Management activities.
IAM Operational Management (~70%)
IAM Lifecycle Operations (JML):
- Oversee, and be responsible for, the timely delivery of accounts and access entitlements to all digital identities, for all corporate systems, throughout the entire lifecycle of a user or system.
Request Fulfilment:
- Own the request fulfilment service for all IAM-based requests into the department.
- Deliver metrics and analytics on request service compliance in accordance with departmental SLAs and resolution metrics.
Incidence Response:
- Provide a 24x7 incident response capability to the business as the first point of contact with the IAM Department.
- Operate an escalation service to coordinate with 3rd line teams within IAM or other technical teams within the business, to support the closure of Major Incidents or Security Incidents.
Periodic Review:
- Perform access entitlement reviews, in accordance with corporate policy, on established access levels of all accounts into all systems.
Audit Support:
- Provide a supporting capability to all internal and external audits, with the timely management and resolution of non-conformities or recommendations.
Reporting Services:
- Provide reporting and analytics to IAM team management, and other key stakeholders, on IAM Operations, using modern reporting tooling such as Power BI.
Critical Success Factors
- Request Fulfilment MTTR: Maintain acceptable MTTR metrics for request fulfilment within the department.
- Incident Response: Maintain acceptable incident response and resolution metrics.
- Periodic Review: Ensure that all periodic review requirements are met.
- External Audit: Ensure all external audits are represented with no major non-conformities identified.
- Reporting: Delivery of required reports to the department and key stakeholders on departmental performance and Key Risk Indicators.
What You'll Need
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with strong expertise in identity & access management.
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership role managing global teams and security programs.
- Proven ability to manage security programs and influence cross-functional teams.
Certifications
- Professional cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM.
- Technical certifications in Microsoft technologies (AZ500, SC300, etc.).
Skills and Competencies
- Proven track record of work experience in a challenging commercial environment.
- Good working knowledge of relevant functional systems (EntraID, Active Directory).
- Experience in dealing with and influencing multi-tier management.
- Experience of developing best practice policies and procedures for functional area.
